Interfood chooses Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
26th of November 2021, Bergen op Zoom – Interfood, a leading global dairy supplier, successfully migrated its JD Edwards ERP environment to the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). By doing so, the Dutch multinational opted for a cloud infrastructure of the latest generation. With the move to the cloud, Interfood benefits from better performance, lower costs, and easier cloud migration for their existing on-premises applications. Interfood has chosen Quistor to be their partner during the migration process.
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
OCI is an Infrastructure as a Service solution that delivers on-premises, high-performance computing power to run cloud-native and enterprise IT workloads. OCI provides real-time elasticity to business applications by combining Oracle’s autonomous services, integrated security, and serverless computing. OCI customers get exclusive access to the new Autonomous Database and its self-healing autonomous services. Machine learning and artificial intelligence automate all routine database tasks for increased performance, security, and operational efficiency. Automated services mean less time coding and more time building business applications.
With the move to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Interfood benefits from more flexibility, economies of scale and flexibility in its IT. Instead of spending money and resources on outdated IT systems, they can focus on more strategic tasks, ultimately to provide the best service in global dairy.
On top of that, Interfood is committed to contribute to a sustainable planet, where we can all enjoy dairy responsibly, now and in the future. Ran Panday, CIO at Interfood: “Migration from On-Premises to OCI supports our growth ambitions, with more real-time integration options with our customers and suppliers, and a better user experience for our team while at the same time benefit from a lower CO2 footprint of OCI.”
