IT Support Engineer


Quistor is immediately looking for an ambitious support employee for the Internal IT department. The Internal IT department is an essential part of the Quistor organization and ensures every day that all colleagues can use our information systems without any problems.

In this position, you are the first line contact point and you provide user support for your Quistor colleagues with regard to all (technical) issues in the field of IT. You will also be approached with questions about (mobile) telephony, printing and peripheral equipment.

Where you have well-defined tasks at a normal support desk (providing support with problems, registering, documenting, etc.), we expect you to operate as a case manager in the event of disruptions. You, therefore, need to have excellent communication skills and you have the freedom to use and further develop your technical knowledge. You are able to handle and resolve a large part of incoming calls and tickets independently. You communicate proactively within the team and if necessary towards the users about disruptions that are announced through various channels and you take action if necessary. Where necessary, you engage other internal / external experts, where you monitor the progress of the solution and inform the customer. You ensure that you stay informed of developments at suppliers.

In this function, you maintain and optimize the support desk. You are proactive, accurate, enjoy working in a team and willing to continue to develop yourself.

Other tasks:

  • Performing server tasks such as checking and following up backups, network user and access management, e-mail, etc
  • Configuring and delivering systems and equipment, while at the same time ensuring that the CMDB is kept in order
  • Consultation with and provide timely and correct feedback to the IT Manager in areas such as current affairs, new developments and ideas, time-consuming applications, points for improvement and bottlenecks

Qualifications and experience:

  • MBO ICT thinking and working level
  • Minimum 2 years work experience
  • In addition to Dutch, you master fluent English spoken and written
  • Basic knowledge of IT environments and networks
  • You are able to provide 1st and 2nd level support to colleagues
  • You know you live in the user situation and adapt your communication to this
  • You can work in a team
  • No 9 to 5 mentality
  • You are stress resistant, motivated and accurate
