A new plug in for Related Application Information Framework (RIAF)

With the upcoming Tools release (9.1.2) the FDA based control will be deprecated and replaced with a new plug in for Related Application Information Framework (RIAF). Oracle published a quick youtube video that shows the planned enhancements they have for RIAF and the second half of this video shows how to link in OBIEE content. Click here to watch the video.

The benefits of using the RIAF feature is that it is a simple implementation, requires no custom coding at all, and in many instance could be configured by an end user.
